Werribee Residence—Red River Gum Custom Design

Design: Urban Metal Custom Design “Red River Gum”

Description: Commissioned by the owner of the Werribee private residence, our designer, Deborah, created the three-panel custom design to meet the clients design specifications. The design brief was concise. The clients were wanting to sit beneath the ceiling panels, with the intention of looking up to imagine that they were actually sitting beneath the canopy of Red River Gum Trees. The project required research into leaf shapes and branch structure. Crucial to the outcome, was the collaborative design process. The clients (who reside interstate) were able to supply images of tree canopies from the local area and were given opportunities at every step of the design process for input.  The outcome was overwhelming successful.
